We are based just one mile from Bournemouth town centre, offering specialist, friendly and affordable Osteopathy and Acupuncture treatment for all. Our patients commonly come to us for back and neck pain, migraines, menopausal symptoms, chronic pain conditions, arthritis, all auto immune conditions, anxiety and depression, fibro myalgia, allergies, nervous conditions, hyper tension, reflux, spinal disc issues and general wellbeing as well as preventative treatments and many other conditions, with treatment tailored individually to each person.

We believe our patients’ needs come first, which is why so much of our practice is built on repeat visits, recommendations, and referrals from people we’ve treated over the years.

The clinic was established in 1998. It’s a family business managed and run by Gary Hussey (LicAc AAC) and Steve Hussey (BSc (Hons) Ost, D.O.) are the resident Acupuncturist and Osteopath respectively, Gary is registered with the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), part of Acupuncture Regulatory Authority. Steve is a member of the British Osteopathic council. Insurance welcome, Axa registered.

Acupuncture

Gary Hussey started studying Chinese acupuncture in 1993 at the International College of Oriental Medicine and established his own private practice in Bournemouth in 1998. Gary has mastered two different styles of traditional acupuncture.

Osteopathy

Steve Hussey is proficient in treating a wide range of conditions including neck, shoulder, upper/lower back pain, headache, and elbow, wrist, hip or knee pains. Steve's style of Osteopathic treatment caters to all ages from newborns to the very elderly.

I Phoned Steve up after putting my neck out and was worried about having time off work but within half an hour of calling I was seen by Steve to start treatment. Gary is a brilliant acupuncturist. I first went to see him for long-term acne, which cleared up completely after a couple of treatments. After an initial consultation in a comfortable and warmly inviting environment Gary treated my main issue which is Restless Leg which i have to say has driven me crazy. After isolating quickly the pulses that needed attention he has treated me twice and now i have almost forgotten the reason i went . .My first appointment with Gary was nearly two years ago and I have been having acupuncture once a month ever since. Gary's definitely has a gift with this knowledge of accupuncture and his approach of 'pulse diagnosis' is impressive to experience. I had immense pain from adenomyosis which pretty much disappeared after one session, he has also used some silk techniques which worked wonders too. Gary also helped to heal my daughter's immense car sickness. She wasn't able to travel far (under 10 minutes in a car) and now she travels up to 4 hour journeys with really little side effects.
